One of the things we love most about working on weddings is getting to know our clients and their families. We had such a great time collaborating with Dana and her parents on custom invitations and stationery for her April 2010 wedding at the Sandpearl Resort. The wedding, impeccably coordinated by Sandy Rule Events and beautifully photographed by Phillip Lloyd, was stylish, sophisticated and filled with laughter and love. We wish the very best to Dana and Chris on their new life together!

Sharon & Lawrence ~ 05.02.10 ~ Tampa, FL

June 21, 2010

Pink and orange is one of my favorite color combinations — I’m not sure if it’s because I live in a tropical area, or because I’m just a girly-girl — but seeing those colors together always bring me happiness and joy. I hope it does the same for you as you view the fantastic photography and detail shots by Jason Angelini. Simply Divine Events and their team of vendors did such a fantastic job coordinating and designing this beautiful wedding.

Susanne & Bob ~ 05.29.10 ~ Tampa, FL

June 7, 2010

I love the colors and style of this wedding, expertly designed and coordinated by Simply Divine Events. The Davis Islands Garden Club is the perfect venue for their color palette of green, orange and yellow. Talk about attention to detail: the flowers on the cake matched the floral motif we designed for the save-the-date announcement and formal wedding invitation. While some guests may not make the connection, it’s those personal touches that make a wedding special and unique. More photos can be found at photographer Carrie Wilde’s blog.

Working with a clients like Daron is especially heartwarming because she has a deep appreciation for quality stationery, and truly embraced the notion that the invitation sets the tone for the event. The color palette of soft pink, chocolate brown and shimmery white translated beautifully to the 6×9 Booklet-style invitation, as well as the menus, table cards and ceremony programs. A special thank you Jason Angelini for the beautiful photography! More images from this beautiful wedding can be found at Jason Angelini’s Blog.

I love, I mean LOVE, this wedding. The bride was fantastic to work with, her colors and style were fun yet very elegant, and thanks to a team of extremely talented wedding professionals, I’ve got the gorgeous photography to prove it. Shannon has the keen ability to place unexpected and clever details into her events, like the round escort cards tied to the stem of martini glasses. Marvelous!

It was a pure pleasure and delight to work with this family and their team of talented vendors on a truly spectacular Bat Mitzvah. In the Spring of 2009 we mailed 6-inch square custom pocket save-the-date announcements that included a magnet, custom logo, and travel information:

Three months prior to the big day, we mailed 6×9 custom pocket invitations, with thick lime green satin ribbon, the logo on a two-inch round circle, and a weekend itinerary for out-of-town guests.

The talented folks at ConceptBAIT, along with Divine Creations and A La Carte, masterfully created “Zoe’s Dog Park” for the evening celebration; transforming A La Carte into a polka-dotted, canine extravaganza!

Real Wedding: Kristen & Gordon, November 2009

January 20, 2010

We thoroughly enjoyed working with the bride and her family on this classic, elegant wedding. The bride and groom did a spectacular job incorporating many personal touches in their special day. The tables were named after historic St. Petersburg landmarks, such as the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and Al Lang Field, corresponding vintage postcard images were used at each table and on the personalized escort cards. The favors included glass jars of honey and delicious homemade pear jelly, both made by members of the family.

Get Inspired: Exotic handmade papers

October 29, 2009

The Pocket invitation is one of our most popular styles for wedding and party invitations, so we love when clients are open to mixing in unique color and paper combinations. Ari and Allan’s antique gold pocket invitation for their December wedding is accented with a crinkled, hand-marbled paper from Thailand.

Thank you Staci with Unique Event Design for the opportunity to work with such creative clients!
